About StarPlace
StarPlace is an independent online marketplace where people buy and sell giftable Star Citizen items — ships, CCU upgrades, game packages and pledges. We are not a game studio and we do not create the items: we are the escrow and the moderation layer between a buyer and a seller who would otherwise have to trust a stranger.
Who operates this site
StarPlace is operated by Connect Plus Ltda, a limited company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 66.180.802/0001-39, with registered address at Rua Doutor Lauro Gentio Portugal Tavares, 3400 — Sítio Cercado, Curitiba/PR, 81920-000, Brazil. The managing partner and legal representative is Vinicius Rocha Schroeder.

What we actually sell
Every listing is an item that already exists in a seller's own RSI account and can be transferred through Cloud Imperium's official gift system. There is no automation, no account sharing and no bot: a verified seller performs the gift manually, to the RSI handle the buyer provided.
We do not sell in-game currency. We do not sell, rent or transfer RSI accounts. We never log into your RSI account and we will never ask you for your RSI password.
How the money is protected
Payment is held while the order is open. The seller only receives the funds after the buyer confirms the item arrived; if it does not arrive, or the wrong item arrives, the order goes to a dispute and the buyer is refunded. Sellers are not anonymous to us: becoming a seller requires an application, a phone number, a one-time licence fee, and acceptance of a seller contract that allows us to revoke the account and pause every listing if a delivery is not honoured.
We are not RSI, CIG, or Star Citizen
StarPlace is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cloud Imperium Games (CIG), Cloud Imperium Rights LLC, or Roberts Space Industries (RSI). Star Citizen, Squadron 42, RSI and related names, logos and ship designs are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe what is being traded. What we do run is the escrow between the two sides of a trade: the buyer's money is held by PayPal, the seller delivers through RSI's own official gifting system, and the funds are only released after receipt is confirmed. The full rules are in our Terms of Service.
