Sell your Star Citizen ships, CCUs and pledges

StarPlace is a marketplace with escrow for giftable Star Citizen items. The buyer pays first, and the money waits in escrow while you send the official RSI gift. When the order completes, the money is in your StarPlace wallet, ready to withdraw by Pix (Brazil) or PayPal.

Why sell on StarPlace

Paid before you deliver

You are asked to send the gift only after the buyer's payment is confirmed, and the money stays in escrow while you deliver.

A fee you can read in one line

StarPlace keeps $1.00 per unit sold — no percentage of your price. No listing fee, no monthly plan, and nothing to pay on items that do not sell.

Payment costs are on the buyer

PayPal, card and currency-conversion costs are added to the buyer's total and shown before they pay — they never come out of what you receive. Pix has no processing fee.

Buyers in Brazil and everywhere else

Buyers in Brazil pay in reais with Pix, PayPal or credit card; buyers in every other country pay in US dollars with PayPal, by card or PayPal balance. Your price and your payout stay in US dollars either way.

Protected after delivery, too

If a payment is reversed after you delivered as agreed, we do not simply pass the loss on to you: we investigate first, and when we find no bad faith on either side, StarPlace absorbs the reversal and any case or chargeback fee — you keep your payout. Disputes are decided by people who look at the evidence from both sides. Refunds & Chargebacks

Seen in three languages

Every listing gets its own page in English, Portuguese and Chinese. Ships and CCUs also appear on the model's page in the ship index, and CCUs feed the CCU planner buyers use to find the cheapest upgrade path.

Built for people who sell a lot

Keep up to 99 identical units in one listing, get the ship artwork filled in from the catalog, add notes for buyers, and answer the Wanted board — items buyers asked for that nobody has listed yet.

Good sellers rise, and others share for you

Sellers with a solid record of completed sales, good reviews from several different buyers and no lost disputes move up in the marketplace's default order. And anyone can share your listing with their referral link and earn a commission that comes out of StarPlace's fee — never out of your payout.

How selling works

  1. 1

    Create your account and apply

Fill in the seller application: who you are, your address, your payout details, a phone number, your RSI handle and Discord. Then accept the seller terms.

  2. 2

    Pay the one-time license

$10.00, by PayPal, Pix (Brazil) or StarPlace wallet balance. Only paid applications are reviewed, and the fee comes back in full to your wallet if yours is not approved.

  3. 3

    Get approved

Our team reviews every application by hand. We review applications within 1–3 business days. Higher-risk profiles can take a little longer.

  4. 4

    List your items

Ships, CCUs, game packages, pledges, paints, gear and special items. A listing goes live the moment you publish it. You set the price in US dollars (minimum $5.00) and the delivery time, from same day up to 7 days, and the form shows exactly what you will receive before you publish.

  5. 5

    Sell and deliver

When a buyer pays, you get an e-mail, and the order page shows the RSI e-mail that receives the gift and your delivery deadline. Send the official RSI gift to that e-mail, mark the order as sent and attach the RSI screenshot as proof.

  6. 6

    Get paid

The money is released to your StarPlace wallet as soon as the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically 7 days after payment once you have marked the gift as sent with your proof of delivery, if the buyer takes no action and no dispute is open. From there you withdraw by Pix (Brazil) or PayPal, from $10.00.

What you receive

StarPlace keeps $1.00 per unit sold — no percentage of your price. On a $100.00 sale you receive $99.00. Payment-processing and currency-conversion costs are paid by the buyer on top of the price, so they never change what you receive.

What you can sell, and the rules

  • Only giftable items: ships, CCUs, game packages, pledges, paints, gear and special items that you own and can gift from your own RSI account.
  • Accounts and account access are never for sale, and no one at StarPlace will ever ask for your RSI password.
  • Keep the conversation and the payment on StarPlace. Notes with links, e-mails, phone numbers or Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp contacts are blocked — the escrow only protects deals made here.
  • Deliver within the time you chose. A seller who does not deliver can have the account revoked and every listing paused; coming back is decided case by case and costs a one-time fine of $50.00.

Seller questions

How much does StarPlace charge sellers?

StarPlace keeps $1.00 per unit sold — no percentage of your price. There is also a one-time seller license of $10.00, refunded in full if your application is not approved. Listing is free, there is no monthly plan, and nothing is charged on items that do not sell.

Who pays the payment processing fees?

The buyer. The cost of the payment method the buyer chooses — PayPal, card or currency conversion — is added to the buyer's total and shown before they pay. What you receive is the same whatever method they use.

When do I get paid?

As soon as the buyer confirms receipt — or automatically 7 days after payment, once you have marked the gift as sent with your proof of delivery, if the buyer takes no action and no dispute is open. The money goes to your StarPlace wallet, in US dollars.

How do I withdraw my money?

From your StarPlace wallet, by Pix (Brazil) or PayPal, from $10.00, one request at a time. Withdrawals are reviewed and paid manually, usually within 2 business days. StarPlace charges no withdrawal fee.

What happens if the buyer opens a dispute?

The money stays held while the dispute is open. Both sides post their messages and evidence on the order, and StarPlace staff decide whether the payment is released to you or refunded to the buyer. That is why it pays to attach the RSI screenshot of the gift when you mark the order as sent.

What if a buyer reverses the payment after I delivered?

We do not simply pass the loss on to you. We investigate first, and when we find no bad faith on either side — you delivered as agreed and the buyer did not abuse the dispute — StarPlace absorbs the reversal and any case or chargeback fee, and you keep your payout. The full rules are in Refunds & Chargebacks.

Can I sell several units of the same item?

Yes. One listing holds up to 99 identical units. Each sale takes one unit, and you can restock the listing when it sells out.

Do I need to share my RSI password?

Never. You deliver by sending the official RSI gift to the buyer's RSI e-mail. StarPlace never asks for, accesses or shares account credentials, and accounts or account access can never be sold here.

Is StarPlace affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games or RSI?

No. StarPlace is independent and not affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games, Roberts Space Industries, or Star Citizen.
